The worl famous "Modern Drummer" magazine took a close look at a Karri Ply drum kit in their August 2004 issue. This drum kit was actually a one-off, as we discontinued making drums out of this Western Australian timber, due to it's very similar sound to our famous Jarrah Ply drums.
