And the latest artist news flash:
Dave Abbruzzese has been doing some casual recording on his new Brady drum kit, and is considering a new jump into the music world - stay tuned.
Abe Cunningham has just wrapped up the Summer Sanatarium Tour with the Deftones, and spent last weekend filming the band's new video clip for the next single " Hexagram", taken from their self-titled album. Deftones then trek back to Europe for a two-week tour in mid September.
On TV, ABC will be featuring Brady snare drum owners Slam G & Gerald Heyward when they perform with Britney Spears and Mary J Blige respectively on September 4 to mark the beginning of the NFL season.
Coldplay was recently on our home turf as part of their endless world tour. Whilst "Down Under", Will Champion picked up another Brady snare for the recording of their LIVE DVD, recorded in mid August in Sydney, Australia.
Part-time Tommy Lee skinsman Will Hunt has recorded a new album with his other band, SKRAPE. The new album is titled "Up The Dose" and is due for release on September 23 through RCA Records.

Sevendust release their new album "Seasons" on October 7 through TVT Records. Morgan Rose can also be seen on the cover of Modern Drummer's December 2003 issue. The band has just began a headlining tour across the US to debut the new material to their fans, followed shortly by another national tour with fellow Brady snare owner, Jon Wysocki, in support of Staind's "14 Shades Of Grey".
Rush will be releasing their triple-disc live album and double-dish DVD titled "Rush In Rio" in September through Anthem/Atlantic Records. The DVD includes all 28 songs taken from the band's "Vapor Trails" Tour, documentary footage from shows in Brazil and extra close ups of Neil Peart banging the tubs.
MTV Music Video Awards will be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall in New York on August 28. Brady owners performing on the evening are Will Champion (Coldplay) and Gerald Heyward (Mary J Blige). Fingers crossed for those hard-working drummers whose work was recognised with award nominations this year:
