I 've been playing drums for 20 years and haven't found a good snare until now. I am the proud owner of a 7x13 sheoak block snare. This drum has inspired and revitalized my playing again. Sounds amazing at low and extreme volume! No other drum can come close to the quality of sound and beauty of BRADY drums. I will never need another snare again thanks to Brady!

I am a professional musician in the United States. I currently study with world renown drummer, and clinician Dom Famularo. I am in the market for a new kit and was told about Brady drums by a stranger actually. I have heard only murmers about your product and until viewing your website have i became unbelievably interested. I am absolutely fasinated by your manufacturing process and i would be honored to own a brady kit. I hope i would'nt be asking too much but i would like as much information on Brady Drums as possible if you could email me some info. that would be wonderful. thank you very much - Elijah Navarro

Wow! I just can't beleive my new 14x6,5 Jarrah snare!

I wanted a versatile snare with character, bite and body and it's got it all... I tried everything I could get my hands on and it slays everything brass, steel or maple for character, liveliness and personality.
Great rock sound with an SM57 or super fat and juicy miked with a condenser tube Rode K2.

With sticks, rods and brushes, I can tune it way down or way up, deaden it or let it ring out it just steals the show and it looks georgeous in Ningaloo green... The rim shots have a classy wood clock! with really nice clarity.....I just wish I'd gotten it years ago...Next is an entire Brady kit.
Thanks for helping me decide on the sound you guys rock!

Dearest Brady,

I'd just like to say congratulations on getting some more drummers on your roster. I'm a big fan of The Killers & The Strokes and I'm sure Ron and Fab will do great things for the commerical side of the company.

Hope to be hearing from you soon!

Warmest Regards,
Charlie x

Just purchased a Brady 6x14 JP in the silky OAK finish. Just wanted to say this is the best snare drum I have ever owned, the sound, craftmanship and the attention to detail is exceptional! thank you.

Hello there,

My name's Gabor, I live & play drums in Hungary. I just thought I'd drop a few lines because I'm simply amazed by your drums. I proudly own the following 3 Brady snares:

5.5x14" Jarrah Ply built in 2001- I'm not sure about the finish but it's certainly not offered anymore - maybe I'll send you a pic to ID this drum's veneer;
7x12" Jarrah Block from around 1994 - this little baby is unbelievable!;
4.5x14" Jarrah Ply/Turtleback Satin from 2005. I've just bought this and it's on the way to me from NYC.

I love these drums and I'm out for more. They were all 'blind dates' because I didn't get the chance to try them. But I knew I couldn't go wrong and I didn't. They all sound terrific, period.

I play my Brady snare drums with our band named (in Hungarian) 'Tazman Ordog' which literally stands for Tasmanian Devil. We are proud that last year we were sued by Warner Brothers and we won the case. They claimed that the name 'tasmanian devil' is their trademark because of the 'Taz' cartoon character. Our standpoint was that tasmanian devil is an animal from Australia and as such, its name can be borrowed or used by anyone. So much for the relation between animals, rock bands and giant entertainment empires.

Many company build nice drums, some of them can even be considered as works of art. But Brady is one of the very few companies in the world which are different in that you create true musical instruments. Thanks a million for these drums.

All the best,

Gabor Joo

HI Chris,

A quick note to say Hi and to wish you all best to you for 2006 and of course, to tell you that I am still playing the jarrah kit you built for me back in 1986 when I joined Perfect Strangers. The kit still fits me like a glove and I still love it! Though I do feel an upgrade coming on at somestage soon. The new kits look awesome. Great to see Brady rockin. Cheers

I just stumbled upon a goldmine here! I can't believe it--such a well kept studio secret. I have been listening to Brady drums for years and didn't even know it; no wonder I haven't been able to get the right sound. Excellent work on the drums, they look and sound incredible!

It was instant spontanious love from the moment I heard the red silky oak snares' superior sound...I had to buy it. I'm now worried about purchasing the wandoo burl satin finish bass and floor tom for fear that the sound too will seduce my sense or lack of common sense!

I recently played one of your 8"x14" jarrah snares. Words can't describe the feeling I got upon the first strike of the head. I told some of my drumming buddies to imagine the perfect snare sound and then multiply that by about 100 and you'd be pretty close. Amazing quality and sound guys, I will have mine pretty soon. Keep it up!

I received my red silky oak fusion kit last friday from MassMusic in Arizona, USA. The instruments are not only of beautiful craftsmanship, but the sound is magnificent. The drums have this ability to maintain their tonal integrity at "all" playing intensity levels without sacrificing control. No small accomplishment........The sound of the drums exude a life force, or akasha as they call it in India...It is the capturing of the life force which was placed there originally in the tree by the Creator, is what makes your instruments truly stand alone in the industry..As a musician [37 years], not someone who just slams surfaces, this life force and sensitivity are what makes it possible for me to successfully express and deliver my own musical signature. These instruments you have made for me, are the only ones that I have ever touched that I do'nt feel like I'm fighting to play...Therefore, they will be the only drums I will be playing from here out..

I look forward to a long standing and progressive relationship with your Brady family and will be "investing" in more of your instruments in the future.

Thank you again for your gifts.

Onward and Upward !

Your Friend,
Rik Desmond / USA

Just wanted to say that I think it's really good that Australia (in particular Western Australia) is able to have such a strong drum name. Just one question what would I have to do to be considered for endorsement.
All the Best,
Your Westralian mate
